For heating and plumbing businesses

Find out how your team handles new enquiries.

ThinkCalling is designed to phone your business as a customer would, then give you a plain-English report on what happened. Live calls are switched off while the service is in development. The example report shows the format.

This is a pilot waitlist. Joining creates no charge. Availability and pricing will be confirmed before anyone takes part. No price or start date has been set yet.

What the caller heard
“I'll try and get someone to give you a ring back.”

What to try first: give a specific callback time before ending the call, so a stressed customer knows what happens next.

How a test works

Four steps, from agreeing the test to reading the report.

01

Choose what to test

A new enquiry, a breakdown, a price question or a booking. You choose the situation and the number to test.

02

Agree the test first

Live tests will only use a number you control, confirmed in writing first. No live calls are made yet.

03

A test caller phones you

Once live calls are switched on, an automated caller plays a customer with a realistic problem and tries to book, as a real customer would.

04

Read the report

A plain-English report shows what was said, what went well, what was missed, and one change to try first.

When live calls are offered, the caller will be an automated system, not a real customer. See the pilot page for what is planned and what is not yet available.

What you get back

Key findings are linked to quotes from the call, so you can check them yourself.

What happened on the call, in order, with the words that matter.

Which steps went well and which were missed, from a fixed checklist.

The quote and timestamp behind each key finding.

One practical change to try first, plus what the report cannot tell you.

Example tests for heating and plumbing

These are starting points. Pilot businesses can change them to match the jobs they actually want to win.

Boiler breakdown

“My boiler has stopped and we have no heating.” Does the caller get a same-day answer?

Leaking tap or pipe

A routine plumbing job. Are the right questions asked, and is a visit offered?

Price question

“Roughly what would that cost?” Is there a useful answer, or a flat deflection?

Service booking

“Can someone come out on Tuesday?” Is a slot offered, and is the booking confirmed?

Out of hours

A call after closing. What happens next, and is there a clear way to get help?

A small pilot

We are building a waitlist of heating and plumbing businesses to contact when pilot places open. You tell us the situations you care about. We confirm availability and terms before anything is agreed.

No price, test allowance or start date has been set yet. They will be confirmed before anyone takes part.

  • Joining the waitlist creates no charge
  • Pricing and availability confirmed before anyone takes part
  • Live calls are switched off until authorisation checks are built
